Teaching

Who do I teach?

I teach the horn to students of all ages and abilities in one-to-one lessons. A number of my students play in youth orchestras in London, and one of them is currently playing in the National Children’s Orchestra on a full scholarship. I also teach a number of adult students who have either picked up the horn from scratch, or are returning to the horn having not played in recent years.

How do I teach?

I am an enthusiastic teacher and workshop leader, keen to share my knowledge and experience. My teaching method is to build solid foundations in horn playing technique and help my students develop a good sound quality. This takes place alongside studying pieces of music, with the option of working towards ABRSM exams if desired.

Where do I teach?

I am based in Archway, London and my current students are based in Hampstead, Holloway, Finsbury Park, Highbury and Haringey. I am currently at full capacity, but please do get in touch if you are interested in joining my waiting list.

When do I teach?

As I am predominantly a performer, most of my teaching takes place early in the week, on Mondays and Tuesdays and lessons may need to be rescheduled on performance days. I currently have no regular slots available, but please contact me if you would like to be added to my waiting list.
